Who We Are.
Star Gospel Mission is Charleston's Oldest Independent Faith-Based Charity
Our mission is to transform lives through Jesus Christ by compassionately providing resources for people experiencing hardships. Each year, donors and volunteers help us serve hundreds of men facing homelessness, and several hundred Lowcountry families needing assistance with utilities, food, and other urgent household needs.
Star Gospel Mission has served Charleston and the surrounding area since 1904, and you can help keep the Star shining!
A person's worst moment is not the sum of their life.
